Ludwig '66 Downbeat Outfit with snare and Hardware :Sizes: 20/14, 12/8, 14/14 & 14/5 400 SnareShells: 3-ply with Reinforcing Rings. Finish: Original Sky Blue Diamond Pearl.Details: This kit is an honest and clean example of an iconic and very desirable kit. All three drums are bright and clean, the wrap is in good condition, the chrome has very little pitting.The kick drum wrap its tight, and clean. There are minimal markings and the colour is true and deep. Internally it is clean and the reso coat is original and un-molested.The bass drums hoops have been replaced, with original Ludwig ones, but their original inlay is slightly darker.The lugs are bright and clean with minimal pitting, as are the claws and T-rods.There are 2 extra holes in the kick, where the railmount has been moved at somepoint, these have fixing bolts in place to plug them.A cymbal arm and mount are clean and pit free.The 12" tom is in excellent condition with ono visable scuffs. The tom wrap is bright, tight at the seem and the colour is deep. The lugs show minimal or no pitting, and the hoops are excellent. Internally again, all original and clean and original. No visable date stamp. The 14" floor tom is again bright and clean, the wrap is clean and tight at the seam. It has the original legs and mounts, althought the previous owner moeved the leg mounts down on the drum to raise it's hight. Therefor the shell has 3 ectra holes under the floortom leg barckets, where these have been put back into their original position. The interior reso coat is clean and bright, but again no visable date stamp. Lugs and hoops are clean and bright, agan with minimal pitting.All three drums have serial numbers starting 323xxx. Both toms have white 'baseball bat' tone controls.The 14x5" 400 Supraphnic snare is in worse condition than the rest of the kit. The shell has some major pitting and chrome flaking. The tone control has a round knob and the drum is fitted with a P-85 strainer.There is some minimal surface rust on the hoops and the original snare wires have been replaced.The kit comes with a Speedking bass drum pedal, WLF speedking hihat stand, WFL flush base snare stand and a Ludwig Flush base cymbal stand. All in excellent working and cosmetic order.Heads; The kick has a Remo coated batter and a slightly later original looking White Logo reso.Toms have Remo coated Emporer batters and Coated Ambassador bottoms.Snare has Remo Coated and Hazy Ambassodors, replacement snare wires.What We Say:This kit is in very clean condition, and has been played, but well looked after. Chrome work is all very bright with minimal pitting, mounts all work well and it has a matching cymbal arm.Inside the shells are clean and original, the reso coat looks unmolested.This is a super clean players kit and with some attention to the snare would make any collector proud.The addition of working matching hardware makes his something special.Sounds incredible, as you would expect!!!   More Info www.rustydrums.co.uk
