This is what you may call another 'gourmet' guitar, a wood fantasy based on the best ever being the Stradivari violion, made of the same Italian Spruce, coming from the same valley Stradivari got his wood from, being Val di Fieme, only once a year they cut wood, around October. Making this wood very rare (and about the most expensive on the market) So it's cooked up with carefully selected 'ingrediënts' cooked up by the Martin custom shop to a way above average sounding instrument. Based on Martin's 000-28GE model, this custom made guitar is made with Golden Era bracing (original Specs at the bottom of the page) and features premium Indian rosewood back and sides, selected Italian Alpine spruce top, Mahogany neck with Slotted headstock and old style logo, 3 engraved Waverly-Sloan 3-on-a-plate engraved tuning machines with ivoroid knobs, ebony fingerboard with diamond and square inlays, 48mm (1 7/8") width at nut, low profile gloss neck, Fossil Walrus Ivory nut, saddle, and pins, ebony Pyramid bridge with compensated drop in saddle. Ivoroid binding with herringbone purfling. This guitar is extraordinary quality and a treat for the Martin Addict! Includes a tight fitting OM size Geib Case. This guitar is been played, but still in excellent+ condition,with only very little wear, a few pick marks and angel-hair scratches, some fretwear. But what a tone..
