Martin / 00028k Authentic Hawaiian Koa 2014 / 1921 / Guitar

What a magnificent piece of Bookmatched Hawaiian Flamed Koa the Martin custom shop used for this guitar, the beautiful dark strikes in the wood outdo every other one i've seen so far. This is one of a handful that made it to Europe,  and it's a faithful re-creation of a 1921 000-28K with slotted head from the Martin Museum. Martin took the guitars from their Museum to the Smithsonian institute's CAT-scanner to get every single detail of these guitars exactly right. And they got it right and spot on perfect i can tell you. This guitar is constructed with hide glue throughout and T-Bar neck construction. 1921 was the first year, Martin guitars were braces for steelstring and this wonderful Martin guitar is based on one of the very first guitars braced for steel string. This 2014 Martin 000-28k Authentic 1921 is a 12 fret 000 size guitar, and this is a guitar that will remind you why you fell in love with Martin guitars in the first place, but more, it will renew your love, these are among the best guitars Martin every made.  The historically-accurate detailing, the full solid Premium grade Flamed Hawaiian Koa body construction and authentic 1921 000-28 appointments, right down to the neck barrel, heel, diamond, head taper, slotted head, and slots- make this guitar to what it is: a Milestone in Martin history. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
