This is a fabulous original example of what Martin specialized in…making such fabulous sounding small bodied models of all types. This is a very special early production 1st of their newer 14-Fret 5-15T 4-string Tenor model in all original clean shape. Its Mahogany top is ultra clean having 1 almost invisible crackle on its lower right bout. Its Mahogany back & sides are absolutely crack free & quite clean. Its 1 piece neck feels very comfy, plays great & has a perfect neck angle. Its original Nickel plated White plastic button Banjo tuners are clean & hold tune well. Its Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard & bridge are quite nice. If you want a killer sounding 92 year old perfect playing parlor size body Tenor…this is it. She’s exceptionally clean overall & comes w/a soft case.
