1921 Martin A style all Koa Mandolin, serial #9332, Near mint would be a bit overrated, but it's very clean with not breaks or problems, and exceptionally clean for a 92 year old! The sound is big, warm & sweet and singing, the Mandolin hardly shows any playwear. This an early style Martin Mandolin with all solid Hawaiian Koa body, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard with micro dots, no decal on the front of the peghead, original bridge and tailpiece, Martin stamp embossed on the back and in the body, 330mm scale length, and 30mm nut width, 4-on-a-plate original tuners, 240mm width at lower bout, still with rosewood binding and multiple maple-rosewood purfling, multiple rosewood-maple soundhole inlay, tortoise pickguard inlaid in the wood, beautiful carved top with typical carved-fold at the widest point, excellent original frets, low action with plenty of volume, a loud distinctive mandolin. Comes with a newer hardshell case.

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood.
