The <strong>MARTIN & CO Custom Shop Dreadnought #2375261</strong> is a 14 fret Dreadnought style folk guitar, with a Sitka Spruce top, Blackwood back/sides and Ebony fingerboard (all the woods are of course solid and selected with the greatest intransigence for their acoustic and aesthetic qualities).
An exceptional model perfectly balanced, with an extraordinary responsiveness.
Blackwood is an Acacia that offers intermediate tones between Hawaiian Koa, Mahogany and to a lesser extent Indian Rosewood (for a subtle brilliance). Its clear, dynamic and warm midranges give a remarkable presence to the instrument.
This wood is also virtuous due to its reasoned exploitation in protected forests.
