Martin / D-28 / 1974 / Natural Finish / Guitar

This is an amazing find & a great example of what Martin specialized in…making such fabulous sounding Dreadnaught models of all types. This is a very special 47 year old D-28 model in incredible all original shape. This is the last of the coolest D-28’s having a super clean very grainy Spruce top w/its original clear lacquered pickgard. Its book matched Indian Rosewood back & sides are simply stunning w/colorful stripes down both panels. Its absolutely crack & repair free w/no pickgard shrink crackles at all. Its 1 piece mahogany neck is the perfect size that plays great & has a user friendly neck angle. Its Ebony Pearl Dot inlaid bound fingerboard & bridge are also perfect w/no issues. Its original massive Grover tuners hold tune well. This is a dream guitar for most anyone seriously wanting the best D-28 there is w/super sound quality. Its Incredible ! She’s truly Near Mint overall & comes in a nice newer hard case.
