This is an amazing find & a great example of what Martin specialized in…making such fabulous sounding Dreadnaught models of all types. This is a very special 50 year old D-35S 12-Fret model in wonderful all original shape. This is the last of the coolest D-35’s having a super clean very grainy Spruce top. Its bookmatched Indian Rosewood back & sides are simply gorgeous w/colorful stripes down all 3 back panels. Its absolutely crack & repair free w/no pickgard shrink crackles at all. Its 1 piece mahogany neck is a solid 1 7/8″ at the nut & very flat, the perfect neck that plays great & has a great neck angle. Its Ebony Dot inlaid bound fingerboard & bridge are also perfect w/no issues. Its original massive Grover tuners hold tune well. This is a dream guitar for most anyone seriously wanting the best 12-Fret there is w/its larger body for super sound quality. Other than a few chips in the lacquer here & there, she’s truly exceptionally clean overall & comes in its original shaped Blue Molded hard case.
