Martin / D-45 / 2000 / Natural / Guitar
This is a near MINT Martin D-45 guitar with OHSC that was made in 2000 and has been kept in this amazing condition from new.
Please have a good look at the photos, there is hardly a mark on there. If I am going to be real fussy there is a very small ding about 4mm on the top that is impossible to photo plus another small ding on the back of the headstock, aside from that, it is probably the cleanest year 2000 out there.
The D-45 as you are probably aware is and always has been, the top of the range standard Martin dreadnought. It benifits from carefully chosen tonewoods - the top of this one is particualy nice and has scallaped bracing.
It also has lovely straight grained Indian rosewood that really helps the guitar to sing. Acton is very nice and playable with still room left on the saddle for adjustment and no bellying. This is 15 years old already so it is starting to get a nicely played in sound and does not have the stiffness that brand new guitars can sometimes have.
There is just a small amout of fret wear on the first few chord positions but it is nothing to worry about and is just about the only sign you can tell it has ben played. Original thermo moulded Martin case is in OK condition but does have tape on some parts, structually it is still very sound.
