It hardly gets more iconic than the D-18 and even from 1949. This gun plays like a dream and delivers the classic 'dry' sound that is characteristic of old Martin guitars with mahogany backs/sides. The Sitka deck ensures that there is plenty of tonal excess.
The guitar is original on almost all parameters, however the fingerboard has been replaced with a period-correct Rio rosewood due to intonation.
At the same time, the guitar has been given new frets as well as saddle inserts and saddle and intones 100%.
A completely fresh neck reset ensures a super well-playing guitar with perfect action.
