Martin / D41 VTS Adirondack Cocobolo Custom Shop / Guitar

This is a Martin we ordered at the Martin custom shop when we visited Martin guitars last year. We personally hand selected the tonewoods and put together the specs in close coloboration with the Custom shop at Martin guitars. I think the result is really astonishing. The premium cocobolo looks incredible and even more, soundz incredible. The premium grade 8 Adirondack VTS top is maybe even more astonishing, grade 8 is Martin's highest standard, and as far as i know it's the first time i've seen grade 8 adirondack on a guitar. the Adirondack is a perfect match with the forward shifted Adirondack bracing, scalloped at 5/16 inch. The ageing toner is truly beautiful on this guitar, and again, it's the first time i see a VTS top with ageing toner. The neck is a dream to play with it's combination of vintage and modern feel. It's modified low oval, with 44.8mm ( 1 3/4 inch) at the nut, and 57mm (2 1/4 inch) stringspacing at the bridge.  This guitar is quite something special, and like the Martin custom shop promised, they make it something truly special. Features include D45 style select abalone snowflake fingerboard inlays, D45 style select abalone rosette, D41 style select abalone trim, antique white binding around body, fingerboard and cocobolo peghead overlay with beautiful abalone torch inlay. Ebony fingerboard and bridge, with white pins with select abalone dot inlay, gold Waverly tuners, 645mm (25.4") scale length. The package is made complete with custom shop case and included goodies. This guitar is simply incredible sounding.  Specifications Body Shape: Dreadnought custom shop 41/45 style Finish: Natural Body Material: Solid Premium selected Cocobolo rosewood Top Material: Solid Adirondack VTS Lefty No Body Details: Antique white binding, abalone top trim style 41, style 45 rosette, style 45 back strip, tortoise pickguard. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
