Martin's modern classic - the HD-28V, now out of production.
The forward-shifted scalloped bracing gave the HD-28V its signature sound, elevating it above its more affordable stable-mates - the D-28 and HD-28. In 2018, when Martin introduced the 'Reimagined' series, the HD-28, with its new 1 3/4" nut width, was upgraded to forward-shifted scalloped bracing and the HD-28V retired. This left no option option for players who prefer the more traditional 1 11/16" nut and the HD-28V has therefore become quite sought after in the used market...
This one owner guitar is in exceptional condition, with only a small lacquer graze on the top preventing us from describing it as mint. The tuners have been changed from Martin-branded Gotohs to Waverlys, and the guitar is all the better for this subtle upgrade, which didn't require any additional drilling.
As with all the best Martins, this is a joy to play. The V profile neck is very comfortable, and the sound is classic Martin Dreadnought. Plenty of volume available for when you want to really dig in, but also very balanced and sweet at lower volumes and when fingerpicked.
An excellent all rounder, this is a very versatile acoustic that will handle pretty much anything you can throw at it. Don't let it slip away...

All shipping prices include expert packing, cartons and packing materials but not insurance which is typically around 2% of items value.
