The Martin Guitar OM-28 Modern Deluxe is an Orchestra Model acoustic folk guitar with a 25.4" scale length that combines the best of Martin tradition with more current specifications.
It is of course made from premium grade solid wood with a VTS-treated Sitka Spruce top, an Indian Rosewood back/sides combo, a Mahogany neck and an Ebony fingerboard.

The Adirondack Spruce soundboard and bracing have therefore benefited from the VTS (Vintage Tone System) roasting process. This is a high-temperature thermo-chemical drying technique that gives them not only the visual, but above all the acoustic behavior of old woods. The guitar gains in dynamics, homogeneity and stability.
Because the devil is in the details, a titanium trussrod, Liquidmetal pins and a composite carbon fiber bridge plate were preferred for their ability to potentially increase the projection of the instrument

The asymmetrical Vintage Deluxe / High-Performance Taper neck profile is very pleasant. Its grip is easy, you will quickly adapt to it.

The finishes are in keeping with flamed European Maple bindings, gold frets and tuners, and a 1930s style logo inlaid with pearls.
