This prewar Martin is a true gem ! Really rare to find a 100 year old guitar in such good condtion.
All in Koa wood, she is feather light.
There are no cracks on the top, back and sides. It does have a small split at the end of the fingerboard but we don't think there is a need to intervene. It's minor and has been like this for many years according to the previous owner.
Original nut, fret , tuners, bridge and finish. The guitar is all original except a newer bone saddle. And newer bridge pins of course.
The neck is straight and perfectly set. The neck profile is quite flat and thin with a soft V, very pleasant to play. Action is quite comfortable (3,5 mm for the low E at fret 12 and 2,5 mm for the high E string). Nut width 47 mm.
The best thing about the guitar, besides it's excellent overal condition, is the very clean, open and clear tone which comes out of this little box !
