Martin / OM-45 / 2013 / Natural / Guitar

Here is something special - not only is this a totally AS-NEW, top of the range Custom Shop Martin OM-45 guitar which if you could get in the UK, would cost you around £9,500, it is the NAMM 2013 build Martin that was made to show off their skills for this prestigious show and boy, they didn’t half pull out the stops on thie one...

This is atotally MINT and AS-NEW Jaw Dropping Martin Custom Shop OM-45 guitar with all documents, case candy etc + original plush case that was made in 2013 with the finest, select woods they could find. Included is the original build sheet that reads like every player’s dream tone woods and appointments - I have scanned this at the bottom, just have a look.

Highlights include PREMIUM Mafagascar rosewwod back and sides, PREMIUM englemann spruce top with 1/4” sitka spruce SCALLAPED top bracing, SELECT abalone pearl binding all over, including style 45 snowflake inlays in select abalone which extends to the bridge that has the 6 point snowflake inlays in the same select abalone. It also has quaint instructions like ‘Non-catalysed gloss finish on the top (keep light)’. All in all, this is quite some guitar of the highest quality ever, which at the price I am selling for is a total snip.

Please have a good look at the photos, anything you see out of place is either a dust speck or a reflection. I am actually struggling to finad a mark or ding anywhere on this guitar - it is not normal for me to describe a second hand guitar as MINT but afraid in the case, it is.

The OM-45 as you are probably aware is and always has been, the top of the range smaller bodied Martin. Original pre war versions are highly desirable and if you can locate one, you would be looking at paying a six figue sum to obtain it. OM stands for Orchestral Model and 45 is the Martin top of the range appointments.

Tone of this amazing instrument is very open and has incredible sustain, the notes really ring out and chime. Action is the lowest I have ever come across on a Martin at around 2.5mm on the bass side and it is a real joy to play, superbly well set up with no buzzing. Come and visit me in Cheltenham and give it a try - I do not think you will be disappointed.
