It is a different tonal color than the cedar top version of this guitar. The mahogany sides and back make the sound light and forgiving.
Martinez marries the traditional Spanish construction with modern features as excellent playability and a modern trussrod to have the most stable neck possible. The new hidden acces truss rod allows for easy set-ups and for stability without interfering with the tone. This new lightweight trussrod is the latest innovation that sets Martinez apart from the crowd.
