McPherson MG-50XP, serial number #0692, in mint condition, featuring Striped 'Macassar' Ebony back and sides and Carpathian Red spruce top, in quality and characteristics very similar to Adirondack spruce. In addition to being priceless beautiful, this guitar sounds truly impressive. Strong and powerful and like only the best guitars have- its equipped with some kind let's call it 'jazzy' mellowness because i didn't find the right words for it yet - that makes you feel like you have total control over every string-touch, with no disappointments anywhere on the fretboard, the depth seems limitless and the headroom immense, it's like playing a Steinway grand piano, you immediatly know it doesn't get much better than this.
I sort of was asked to sell this guitar for a colleague, anyway i thought i said no, but there it was one day, and i don't regret it. It's truly a majestic experience. It features impressive Figured Mahogany binding along body, peghead and Ebony fingerboard, the fingerboard is elevated making the body a might resonance chamber, other features include ebony bridge, mahogany neck, ebony peghead, body, Gold Schaller tuners with gold buttons, black-white purfling on all sides of the body, "XP" D-shaped of centre soundhole, “McPherson” pearl headstock logo, gold-plated strap pin, equipped with factory provided L R Baggs RTS-II pickup system. The McPherson is an utmost famous maker in the US and Japan and of course in my circles, but it never seems to have managed to find a dealer in Europe. And that's a shame because we never see them over here. I never heard anything like this McPherson ever, and would welcome them to our shop anytime. Officially this is a used guitar but it's dead mint and not played as far as we can tell. All the case candy is still with the guitar so it seems sort of fresh out of the factory.
The workmanship is superb and Perfect to the last detail. Measurements: 44.5mmm (1 3/4") width at the nut, 650mm (25.5") scale length, 56 mm (2 3/16") string spacing. 410mm (16") body width at the lower bout with 125mm (5") body depth at the end-pin block. The guitar travels in a luxurious Ameritage Case with humi-care.

The Fellowship Of Acoustics, Netherlands
ABOUT US
I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
