Dermot Mcilroy is one of the premium European (NI) makers, creating magical guitars with a magical tone. This new AS-55C custom features: noble Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, Cedar top, a beautiful koa binding along the edges, 5 piece neck Mahogany- Maple - Rosewood - Maple - Mahogany, ebony face plate, Abalone Logo and Celtic knot inlay, Rosewood -Maple Purfling, bound Ebony Fingerboard and bridge, no Pickguard (but ther is one in the case), Gold Gotoh 510 tuners with Amber Buttons, 650mm (25.5") scale, 44.8mm (1 3/4") width at the nut, original deluxe hiscox case. Mcilroy small body guitars are extremely powerful, but are mostly known for being very refined guitars with a Celtic character, extremely well balanced. The guitars sing with crystal clear trebles on a warm bottom. Madagascar Rosewood is considered the closest to Brazilian rosewood and it adds extra dynamics to the tone. And you truly have to compare to notice the rather big difference. Comes with Certificate and case. Factory equipped with Fishman infinity active pickup. Includes 21% VAT/BTW/MWST(fully deductible on purchase for outside EC buyers) and limited lifetime warranty to the first Owner!.
