This is our first Minarik and we are nothing short of blown away. This is a 2005 Minarik "Lotus" from their Studio X-Treme Series, serial# 000115. This Antique Cream beauty is one of their rare, early flattop models and is NOT an easy find. The guitar is in an 8.5 out of 10 condition. There's very little playwear on this piece. Aesthetically, the Lotus is a sight to behold. The Lotus' Mahogany body and shape were designed create and define the guitar's bass tones. This early Lotus has a Mahogany set-neck, 22 fret bound Rosewood fingerboard, open-sight inlays and a stunning etched tailpiece. The pups in this good boy are Tone Perfect humbucking "Resonatas", also found in their other more popular pieces, and are controlled by a 3-way switch with dedicated tone and volume pots. Nut width: 1 11/16", fingerboard radius is 12" and the guitar's weight is approx. 8lbs, 5oz. Guitar comes with softshell case. From Minarik's website:

"This is the most technically "perfect" single cut-away guitar on the market. The traditional single cut-away guitar is severely lacking in the left-side surface area which is used to grab and articulate low-end frequency response. By incorporating Minarik Guitars proprietary Tone Tail Engineering on the bottom of the body and adding an additional tail on the upper left bout, the frequency problems with the traditional single cut-away guitar have been "corrected.” The cut-away has been sharpened and enhanced to tie in with the two other "points" on the body, giving this guitar that signature Minarik design style."
