Pratabas is a combined effect, custom made for the Swedish forum for bass players, Pratabas.se
Pratabas has two switches. One of them switches between Effects mode and True Bypass. The other switches between OVERDRIVE and FUZZ.
The controls in Pratabas are Gain, Tone and Volume. When the pedal is in OD-mode, these controls control this effect. When the pedal is in Fuzz mode the same knobs control the Fuzz.
The yellow LED indicates that the OD is on and the green indicates that the Fuzz is on. In this way you can tell what effect you'll get when you kick it in. The red LED indicates that the pedal is in effects mode.
In Fuzz mode, The gain knob will take you from heavy rock n roll sound with great sustain to broken and noisy fuzz.
On the side of the pedal is a pot to set the response of the gain knob in OD position. Use it for getting the response of Gain that YOU look for.
The pedal is powered with a 12 v dc adaptor which is included. NOTE: the adapter is designed to convert 230 v to 12 v and does not work properly in countries where other voltage standards are used.
The pedal was custom made for the forum pratabas.se and the first pedal went for a test-session to some of the forum members. Their point of view regarding sound and design was taken into account when the pedal was made.
