Mosrite DOBRO / Square Neck Vintage Resonator Guitar / 1967 / Guitar
1967 Mosrite DOBRO Square Neck Vintage Resonator Guitar, Case, EC
Here is an EARLY Mosrite Dobro guitar in Exceptionally Fine condition! With serial number DB0010, likely the 10th one of these ever made (Gruhn's book sites that the first of these was numbered DB0001)! Cool huh?!? And it Sounds GREAT too! According to Gruhn's accounting of it, Semie Moseley of Mosrite aquired the Dobro name in 1966 and production of Dobros in CA started in early 1967. We aren't sure exactly which model guitar this is (check out Gruhn's Guide (Second Edition, p. 17). The guitar's finish appears to be 100% original under blacklight. Interestingly though, in the daylight we noticed what appear to be 3 very faint factory filled holes on the top where pots would be, as if they used a top which was originally intended for one of the 335 style resonator guitars. Remembering how early this example is, it is our opinion that the guitar indeed left the factory like this. The original hard shell case is included - both guitar and case are in great shape and make for a cool and collectible package. K&K Pu system installed.

The Fellowship Of Acoustics, Netherlands
ABOUT US
I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out.
