One of the best built guitars we’ve seen around (you just need to hold it in your hands to see what we’re talking about). This is the non-Piezo version, and previous to 2009, when they still had DiMarzio Custom pickups. Those of you who actually listen to Petrucci will already know the concept of this guitar: heavy metal, progressive, etc. (though quite adaptable to hard rock, really). Of course, it’s not a jazz guitar. One of its main virtues is the tremolo bridge: it can take quite an abuse and stay in tune, which is really nice. The feel of the neck prove that Music Man and Petrucci know the business. An easy to play piece of instrument engineering!
The guitar is in nearly mint condition, only suffering a very small chip (hard to spot, by the way) near one of the lower edges (check the photo). Superb frets, back cover still with factory protective plastic! Great condition for a 7 year-old guitar. This is a great price for a JP6 960.
