This is one of the rarest 1st generation type Sabre basses, its Black finish is really clean having no aging or weatherchecking at all, its maple neck is also quite clean a killer wide “C” shape to it that is quite cool from this pre-Ernie Ball period, 2 very powerful pickups that have both a Stingray tone but more importantly, she has a deep growly bottom end tone that is missing from any Stingray bass, she has a nice clean black pickgard, pot coeds date to the 19th week of 1979, this C00 period bass is the very last of their best basses, absolutely dead original in all respects, other than some rust on its parts, she’s exceptionally clean overall & it comes w/a nice hard case.
