This is one of the coolest earliest 1st generation type Stingray basses, its Black finish has some play time & chips, the body is dated May 26th, 1977, its very smooth maple neck is dated February 4th, 1977 & is what makes these pre-Ernie Ball period basses their best, she has a nice black pickgard, this B00 period bass has its serial on the 3-bolt back plate, it is 1 of the killer toned string-thru body types & is absolutely original in all respects including its “epoxy” covered pre-amp, the pot codes date this to the 28th week of 1997, she’s excellent overall in all respects & comes w/a nice hard case.
