This is a rare bird! This is our gorgeous 1955 National 1111 Aristocrat Semi-Hollow Jazz Box beauty! The National 1111 is a full body, non-cutaway 17" Maple arched body built by Kay. Both the top binding and F holes are bound with thick ivoroid. The gorgeous fingerboard is constructed of Rosewood and is finished with beautiful ivoroid block inlays and side position markers. This Aristocrat 1111 features blender knob that seamlessly controls a single or both pickups that can be operated with a single control. The guitar is in good condition for its age. There's a small fissure on the back of the lower neck that it superficial. She actually cleaned up nicely. It's a simple piece but sings like an angel. The guitar comes with its original hardshell case.
