National / Duolian 14-Fret / 1935 / Steel Color / Guitar

The National Duolian is an iconic guitar among slide guitar fans. This is an unusual 14 fret model from 1935 w/a serial # 272 on the top of its headstock. It appears to have been stripped of finish off of most of its steel body & cover plate. The neck appears to have its original finish or what’s left including its original decal logo w/an added Cali girl sticker from decades ago. It shows signs of having a pickup removed w/2 holes filled just above the cover plate. It can benefit from a neck reset & set up to play perfectly & appears to have its original cone & cookie in place. Big sound is what she has & will make a great player on a budget. Overall she’s good shape & comes in a decent case.
