National Duolian (1936) rare Duco Frost finish, vintage resonator, Case, EC
This is an early Duolian 14 fret steel bodied round neck guitar. This is serial # C383, meaning its the 383th Duolian produced and made around 1936, Set up and tone are pefect, there is some wear to the strange Duco Frost finish, but i consider it 'mojo'. When you take a close look you see the Duco Frost is a very rare type of finish, with crystals formin on the metal-sheet finish, rare also for a national guitar and sought after.. It features a basswood neck and brazilian rosewood fingerboard, with 14 frets clear, steel body with rolled f-holes, dot fingerboard inlays, approx. 10" fingerboard radius, "National Duolian" decal on peghead, "Frosted Duco" finish with crystal-like texture, "Duolian" decal, Solid peghead. with later quality Case,
