The Ovation RSE225-5 Richie Sambora Elite Double Neck is a 6/12-string Electro-Acoustic Double Neck Guitar, and the signature instrument of Bon Jovi’s Richie Sambora. The ergonomic Super Shallow body combines a 6-string and 12-string Guitar into a single instrument and delivers outstanding playability. In addition, the Ovation OP-24+ pick-up provides a radiantly amplified sound. The balanced acoustic sound is provided by a Sitka Spruce top on a Lyrachord body, while the gold-plated die-cast mechanics keep the tuning stable. In addition, the double cutaway also offers trouble-free playing in the upper registers. For use on-stage, the OP-24+ pick-up is available, which has a 3-band equalizer and a pre-shape function that reduces the upsweep of frequencies below 40Hz to prevent possible feedback. A matching Ovation hard-case is included.
