The Johnny Hiland was based on Custom 24, all the usual PRS attention to detail in presentation etc.
The guitar has a 3 way toggle that gives you neck single coil (coil tapped), both and bridge humbucker alone choices. Pull up the tone pot and you get the same with a neck Humbucker.
The Maple neck gives you massive amounts of "spank" for country and funk sounds, and the overall tonality is quite the "glassiest" I've ever heard without having to resort to using a Strat.
All Case candy present, Good condition PRS Hard Case. Trem arm.
This model isn't available anymore as Johnny Hiland asked for too much money from PRS and so has now gone to "Ernie Ball/Music Man."
Just Fabulous. Not in a hurry to lose this one - quite the nicest PRS I've owned.
If you want a "cover all guitar" this is it, Unless you're wanting to cover all the "METAL" Bases - then I'd go for a more predictable PRS....
