Now in Stock: PRS Tonare Grand Custom
Custom features/Upgrades/Remarks:
We deal in Amazing guitars, and this is to my opinion the most impressive introduction of small production guitars from the last 10 years or so. Tony McManus and Ricky Skaggs, to name a few, agree with me and play these Wonderful PRS guitars, that are still very small production, not even 1000 have been made so far, and they already are valued among the best. Appointments and Features are impressive. Check out the amazing looks, Impressive grained cocobolo back & Sides, perfectly grained Adirondack top, and typical PRS inlays. The Tonare Grand is a comfortable 16" (405mm) Medium Jumbo, in width similar to the F or Auditorium model, but a tadd deeper. The top on this one is premium Adirondack spruce, back and sides are truly stunningly grained Cocobolo with matching cocobolo headstock veneer, bridge, bindings and purflings, finished with the proprietary PRS shatter-hard all Nitro finish. The 45.5mm (1 25/32") nut width of the Fingerboard(Halsbreedte/Sattelbreite), 645mm (25.4") Scale length (Mensuur/Mensur) and the comfortable 56mm (2 3/8") fingerspacing at the saddle, make playing on this familiar and easy for every style of playing.
The familiar but ever more PRS bird inlays on the cocobolo fingerboard, with cocobolo binding and matching maple purfling and matching headstock outlay combined with the charming Abalone rosette that is outlined with Cocobolo and maple purfling give this guitar sophisticated looks. Luxurious but not never excessive, and all very functional since you need dots anyway. The neck is a fast C towards D, comfortable and very easy to play, effortless was the key word they used for designing this neck. The Tuners made by Keith Robson are fully hand-made and they cost a small fortune, but with every turn you feel the quality of these tuners. This guitar has a huge sound, reminds of the Superb European Guitars like Lowden or McIlroy, but also remind of Olson & Ryan, but with a bit more American traditional character. A big and chimey very defined tone, piano like precise, drop tunings are easy on this guitar, the deeper body supports any style of playing, from fingerpicking to strumming, i can imagine fast picking, overtone piano like things on it, but if you want you can use it for bluegrass also, it's strong and loud, next to Chimey and Celtic. In my opinion PRS looked very carefully towards George Lowden and James Olson when designing this guitar and thats where the Tonare Grand found it's masterclass genes. Sells new in this outfit for €6900 Euro..

The Fellowship Of Acoustics, Netherlands
ABOUT US
I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
