Patrick James Eggle / OMC-41 / 2002 / Natural / Guitar

Now this is a RARE GUITAR: a 2002 Patrick James Eggle Linville with QUILTED brazilian rosewood. Never seen anything like that before!! I first decided to keep it but my wife tells me i have more then enough guitars.. and as always, she's right! there were some blisters in the finish, but after a firm polish, the guitar is back in MINT condition. Playing this guitar i can only say- Patrick proved me Wrong- When he started building Acoustics he asked me if i wanted to represent his company and i turned him down suspecting a Electric guitar maker wouldn't be able to build guitars on such a high level. I still regret the day! This stunning guitar shows the impressive Masterclass level Patrick James Eggle is working on. He also showed me again we don't need to look overseas to find a top of the line Martin Style Westernguitar of a Quality equal to say Martin, Collings, Rozawood or Santa Cruz. This is a very fine OM cutaway with possibly the most wanted combination of tonewoods that are no longer available due to the strict regulations regarding Brazilian rosewood.  This extremely luxurious combination of Brazilian rosewood and virtually perfect grained Adirondack spruce is a very rare find these days. The brazilian is old pre-ban quarter-sawn Brazilian Rosewood of a stunning bookmatched grain with beautiful spider webbing and a Quilt i never seen the like of before in my life! Likely the most stunning Set of Brazilian i ever set eyes on. The Adirondack is grained wide to small, outside -in, just the way it's supposed to sound best! The guitar features a style 41 Abalone border, Abalone rosette and Abalone back center strip. Ebony Fingerboard and Ebony bridge, Ebony heelcap and Ebony headstock veneer inlaid with the proud PJE Logo in pearl, the body and Headstock are bound in flamed maple as is the tailwedge, the neck is bound in Ebony with single maple purfling. This handcrafted masterpiece shows a dark Tortis Greven handmade pickguard, bone nut and saddle and Fossil ivory Pins with abalone dots. Only the best is good enough for this tone-machine and that's why Vintage Gold Waverly tuners are mounted with of course, matching ebony knobs. The Nitro cellulose lacquer finish is very thin, the reason probably why the guitars sound amazing like it does. It's balanced, has great volume and openess, and the typicall dynamics of this Superious brazilian/adirondack combination are extremely inviting to play the guitar untill your fingers bleed! This guitar is nothing like a typicall European Guitar but a typical, Let's call it "Martinesk Sounding",  guitar. A highest quality Cedar Creek Hardcase protects this wonderful Guitar.

ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
