Paul Reed Smith's early model with Hakaranda fingerboard 1986 PRS Custom 24 / Royal Blue
The first model exhibited as a manufacturer at the 1985 NAMM SHOW will be Standard 24 and custom 24. The initial model of the guitar that can be called the origin of Paul Reed Smith, which continues to be released while repeating minor changes, is PRS Custom 24 / Royal Blue in 1986. The head logo is the earliest specification from 1985 to the middle of 1986 with the Gold Decal logo with the TM (trademark) logo. The fingerboard uses Brazilian rose wood, a rare wood that is currently restricted, and has a slightly stronger attack than Indian Rosewood. The single string side of the cutaway has many manual parts, and the early model is sharpened to the body top, and it has a more three -dimensional finish. The body back is cut and the side part is slightly smooth. Equipped with a sweet switch contained in a black box to create a sweet sound like a vintage PAF. The neck preparation angle is less than 3 degrees, and the neck angle that Gibson Les Paul adopted from around 1953 to around 1960, creating a moderate sustain. It is painted with fabric -colored color, and by aging, fading and making the heather eyes stand out, creating a unique solid feeling. This 1986 Custom 24, which is almost completed from the initial model, is a model that combines vintage and high -end fusion, and is a vintage tone that contains a lot of overtones obtained by aging over high playability. It is an invincible electric guitar equipped with control that can manipulate a variety of vintage tones.
