This is one of the most significant early production PRS Private Stock McCarty models ever produced. Its got an amazing selection of options that make this over the top for anyone w/PRS Radar. This Dark Cherry’burst McCarty was designed & hand made by Joe Knaggs & his team sporting the Private Stock # # 1002 made on 03/24/06 & signed by Paul. Its stunning color is wild as its extremely Curly Maple that was carefully selected for this special order & it has remarkable figure. Both its solid Brazilian Rosewood neck w/its Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard & headstock overlay are stunning. Its fingerboard has beautiful Mother of Pearl Bird Inlays outlined w/14 Karat Gold outlines. Its McCarty Pickups are as good as any PAF’s. Its PRS Gold Stop Tailpiece & Vintage Style Tuners finish her off nicely. This has to be a $20K.+ guitar today. But having 16 years of age to become the monster player she’s become is priceless. She’s all original & near Mint & comes w/a copy of its original Certificate & a photo of a young “Joe Knaggs” holding this when it was just completed all in its original Brown Velour hard case.
