Here is a very cool early Japanese Gibson dove replica par excellence,
One of the first Dove replica's made and one of the best in terms of both aesthetic style and tone.
These are super rare in UK, we would say that this is the only one!
Made by Hayashi, who actually took the time to voice all their factory guitars, so the guitar has a special quality to it, especially the with the tone, certainly one of the better Doves made in Japan.
The history of Japanese maker Hayashi is worth a quick read, the 'Pearl' branded guitars were made by them in very low numbers circa mid to late 70's, they were more expensive and had a higher spec than the other Doves made by FujiGen and Matsumoku.
Being a custom model of the day this adds an extra unique element to this fantasic guitar from one of Japans' best makers.
No cracks, no breaks, no damage, no repairs, no restorations.
Nice quality rosewood back and sides, possibly Brazilian, looks great.
In other respects this is much closer to a 60's Gibson vibe than most other Japanese Doves, and I know because they are all here, we collected pretty much every MIJ Dove that was made.
Priced on rarity, these are very hard to find and will be missed, it is a special guitar and must be appreciated.

We offer a three year limited repair warranty on all of our restored or refurbished acoustic guitars, we are very accomodating and can make any repair or restoration that may be required however this free service obviously does not cover string or hardware replacements, misuse, humidity and climate damage or general damage and wear caused by use, misuse or any other form of negligence
Returns
You are welcome to return guitars for any reason.
If a return arises and we are not at fault then all shipping and processing costs wil be the buyers responsibilty, otherwise we will cover all these costs.
Returns should be made with the guitar packaged exactly as it was sent, in unused and as-described condition.
We reserve the right to charge up to 15% restocking fee, yet we do not usually make this charge.
