The NEW Port City Wave™ Cabinet is truly a breakthrough in amplifier cabinet construction and design. This patented design is truly something special. The Port City Wave cabinet is constructed with a 5-inch wide, 45-degree angle sound deflecting rear panel. This panel is dadoed on both sides of the cabinet for ultimate support. Internal sound waves are projected from the back of the speaker down to the bottom of the cabinet where another 45-degree panel projects sound waves towards the front. A 1 1/8 inch angled port runs the width of the cabinet and projects these sound waves out towards you. You can hear the sound normally "lost" inside your cabinet. This design results in a much more responsive and louder cabinet. The tone produced from the Wave cabinet is smooth, even, focused and clear. The Wave cabinet is NOT a detuned cab. It is not designed to boost or cut any certain frequencies. It is designed to harness all the sound your speaker produces. The 1x12 OS Wave cabinet can match most 2x12 cabinets in its volume and depth.

The 1x12 Wave OS is a slightly bigger version than the regular 1x12 Wave. It is the exact width of our Dual Fifty amplifier. The 22 inch width will allow many heads to rest on the top of the cabinet without the heads over hanging.

All Port City cabinets are built and covered by hand in the USA. The outer shell is crafted from finger jointed 13 ply Baltic birch. The baffle and back panel are made from 1⁄2 inch Birch ply.

The speaker baffle comes with a custom black or small cane grillcloth and silver piping. For easier transport, the Wave cabinet has a metal recessed handle centered for balance on the top of the cabinet. Large rubber feet provide stability on the floor. Each Port City Wave cabinet is wired with a hand soldered, cloth covered 18 gauge wiring harness, and Switchcraft 1⁄4 extension jack.
