The idea for the Port City Twelve amplifier was simple.......A lower wattage amp that is simple yet classy. Smaller in size but BIG in performance. Handwired using the best components and a price tag that won't affect your long term financial goals. I believe we hit the mark.
The first thing you will notice when you plug into this amp is clarity. At lower volumes this amp is CLEAN. Your touch, your guitar, your pick, heck...even the way you breathe will come through! Ok...maybe not, but you get the idea. When you begin to turn up the volume you get some natural breakup. That only wets your appetite to crank it. Doing so will unleash the natural compression and drive that is sure to put a smile on your face. With the amp cranked you can still use your volume knob and pickup toggle switch to get a multitude of different tones. A great amp for recording and those smaller gigs!
