Pre War Guitars / Pre-War OM-Indian Shaded Top / Guitar

Yesterday's New Guitar The perfect all purpose guitar. The slightly longer scale length of the OM leds itself to a bit more bark and bite. For flat-pickers and finger-pickers, solo players and ensemble gigs this could very well be the one. Every tone rings out. It is articulate and loud. And it feels like it is 60 years old. This is close as it get's to a real vintage guitar from the 1930's. Pre War builds reproductions of Martins and Gibsons from the 1930's and 1940's. On this dreadnought Pre-War nails both the looks and tone of an old Martin. The guitar has been aged to look like it has been on the road for many years. Played over and over. And somehow Pre-War managed to age the tone as well. It that very woody, dry and warm tone. If you are looking for vintage tone and vibe this is definitely a guitar to consider. Merk: Pre War Guitars Model: OM FEATURES The perfect replica of an old dreadnought cannon. It has a big bark and lot’s of warmth as well. It’s chords are sweet and single notes shine like diamonds. Whether play in a duo or a full band, the tone will through loud and clear. What is old is new again….step into this time machine with this Pre War OM. Pre War utilizes hot hide glue for all of the bracing as well as in their perfectly fit traditional dovetail neck joints. They use Torrefied tops and hand carved Torrefied brace wood for it’s dry-aged tone. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned professional, we believe that we can expand your horizon as a guitar player.

It all started with the idea of one day building the perfect guitar store; a player’s paradise, filled with great guitars, amps, and like minded people who you could jam and explore different sounds with.

With this idea as the blueprint for Kauffmann’s, we started our store in 2010, which gave us the opportunity to share over 20 years of experience, knowledge, and advice with otherswho share our passion. Today, Kauffmann’s has become a place where we help players at any level discover the best possible guitars in every budget category, do in-house repairs, build our own guitars, share stories, jam, and hang out with those that come to visit us.

The many years of building our own custom guitars and touring as professional musicians have given us the expertise to confidently select guitars with the best quality to price ratio.

We look past big brand names and ‘easy sells’ in order to make sure that we offer our customers the best guitar for them. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned professional, we believe that we can expand your horizon as a guitar player.
