The Rick Turner Compass Rose Acoustic Guitar is a very intricate design & sounds fabulous having some amazing super colorful stripped Indian Rosewood. Rick only builds a couple of these guitars a year and this ones just in from its original owner made in 2007. This is a completely revolutionary design with a lightly braced Spruce top with carbon fiber reinforcement for an instrument that has plenty of “breathing room” yet at the same time is very stable. A Cantilevered Ebony fingerboard also allows for greater resonance and sustain. Its mahogany neck has 2 stringers of graphite thru it for reinforcement & is completely removable & adjustable to anyones taste. A cool sound port on the upper side shoulder of the guitar adds a more intimate playing experience which allows for feeling “closer to the sound”. This is one of Ricks best guitars from his years of experience since the early days at Alembic. This example is near mint w/no repairs nor funny business. Rick has just passed away so grab this if you want a true investment piece of his genius. Comes complete w/its original shaped hard case.
