Originally a Jetglo 320, this guitar has been refinished in Azure Blue and double checker bound by Curt Wilson. Electronics are original as well as the original hardshell case. It features new Rickenbacker vintage style keywinds.
This is a an excellent and unique guitar. When Rickenbacker launched the 320 they made some prototype models, which broadly looked like this one. the most distinctive feature that appeared on the prototype and not on the roduction run was the checker binding, which adds a real classy look to it. Ther is also something about Azureglo, not a common colour but truely stunning - they should have made more....
Condition - this guitar is in pretty good shape given it has had over 30 birthdays (its a 1979 model). Plays very nicely with no significant fret wear. the refinish has been done realy well, in particular the checker binding whihc looks exactly like the real thing.
