This is a stunning Reissue that we’ve waited for put back in production by the head cats @ Rickenbacker. This 4003 is finished in their “Satin Mapleglo” finish showing off its beautiful maple & walnut construction. Its black & white “Checkerboard” trim is all the rage since its demimise in 1975. Its rosewood fingerboard is stunning & feels delish. All Rickenbacker bass guitars are well-known in the music industry, as many famous artists of the past and the present have used them to keep rhythm for their bands… artists like Paul McCartney of the Beatles, Chris Squire of Yes to Guy Berryman of Coldplay. The Rickenbacker 4003 is built on the tradition of all Rickenbacker basses: sustaining bass & tonal clarity. Using a neck through body construction with solid maple wood materials. Featuring two single-coil pickups for balance, the Rickenbacker not only provides tones that sustain for days, but punchy treble so as not to be overpowered by the powerful bass response. It is still a new (mint) unregistered example & comes w/its case candy in its molded hard case.
