Very nice looking and sounding Rickenbacker 660/6 in mint condition. Rare Fireglo finish, incl. non original tweed case.
Irgendwie ist eine Rickenbacker wie eine Reise in vergangene Zeiten. Das Korpus-Design, das charakteristische Checkerboard-Binding, die Toaster-Pickups und das hochgesetzte Pickguard, alles versprüht den Charm der 1950er und 1960er Jahre. Und diese Gitarren prägten den Sound dieser Zeit. George Harrison, Tom Petty, usw…, alle spielten eine Rickenbacker.
Mit einem durchgehenden Ahornhals und einem Korpus aus geflammtem Ahorn besteht diese Rickenbacker 660/6 mit Ausnahme des Palisander-Griffbretts fast ausschließlich aus…? Richtig: Ahorn. Wer das jetzt mit zu höhenbetonen Grundsounds assoziiert, liegt jedoch falsch.
Die Rickenbacker besticht eher durch eine schnelle Ansprache und einen ausgewogenen, drahtigen Sound mit langem Sustain. Daran mag vor allem der durchgehende Hals einen nicht unerheblichen Einfluss haben.
Der Zustand der Rickenbacker ist als neuwerig zu bezeichnen. Gebrauchsspuren lassen sich somit nicht finden. Auch die Bünde befinden sich in beinahe unbespieltem Zustand.
Im Lieferumfang ist ein Kinsman-Tweed-Koffer enthalten, der sich ebenfalls in einem neuwertigem Zustand befindet.
