This is a majestic sounding Rozawood RD-6, limited and it's mastermade. With Madagascar Rosewood back and sides and Adirondack spruce top, Honduras Mahogany neck, C shape with a Full feel without being anoying or disturbing, a bit towards a 50's Gibson J-45. The Darkburst+sunburst finish relates the background of this guitar. A guitar that's in between a Gibson and a Martin style dreadnought/Jumbo. In many ways it reminds of a Collings CJ model which is in my reference one of the most powerful guitars made these days, except maybe for the ocassional Rozawood dreadnought that comes along and does that amazing thing, not stand in line behind the CJ what would be the obvious thing to expect, but simply compete for being the loudest and most persisting Guitar in the shop with a very nice compressed sound. Well it's made the right way, Rozawood guitars don't have 'tongue' braces, are almost fully hide glue construction, with forward shifted X and scalloped bracing, are equipped with a T-bar style Double standing Carbon fibre rod and are made by one of the most passianate luthiers on the planet.
Other features include body bound in rosewood, ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, ebony bridge and Nut, fossil ivory saddle, Madagascar peghead overlay, with rozawood logo, ebony bridge pins, Gotoh Gold 510 tuners, 44.3 mm (1 3/4") nut width, 645mm (25.4") scale length, 57.5mm (2 1/4") fingerstyle stringspacing at the bridge, A most Beautiful guitar and mainly based on pre-war Martin with a bit of J-45 added to the looks.
