We are pleased to offer this almost 20 year old Santa Cruz Custom OOO, previously owned by Stevie Ann, a guitar- when you are from Holland, i'm sure you have seen her with on TV- or stage. This guitar has been her long time companion before she switched to a Vintage Gibson J-45. The guitar features a 12fret neck-joint, and when you don't need a 14 fret this guitar would buy an amazing guitar with a distinctive almost classical vibrant tone that knows no equal, and- the OOO adds looks that are simply gorgeous. This Santa Cruz OOO features a German Spruce top paired to premium Indian Rosewood back and sides. The mahogany neck, bound ebony fingerboard and Slotted head construction all add to the magic, defined and airy tone. This guitar shows several custom options, like the German spruce top, custom pearl fingerboard inlay and waverly sloan 3-on-a-plate tuners. Especially the German spruce top is most intrigueng option, there is no other wood, maybe except for Italian spruce- that responds so well to a light touch, a light touch of the strings makes this guitar whisper, making it a utmost suitable instrument for refined fingerstyle playing. German spruce is with good reason considered one of the best fingerstyle tonewoods since it's simply tonally more refined, offering just a bit more clarity, just a bit different dynamics and plenty of headroom. This guitar is in excellent condition, but certainly not mint, it has been on the road and shows a bit of honest play-wear, although it's been very well taken care of, the set up is excellent and the guitar plays very comfortable with low action. Features include AER AK15 pickup, herringbone top purfling, ivoroid bindings and original case.
