Other features include mahogany neck, Bound ebony fingerboard, 644mm (25 375 ") scale length, 43.7mm (1 23/32") Nut width, 56mm (2 1/8") string spacing at the bridge, Waverly open back tuners, ebony peghead with Santa Cruz Guitar Company (SCGC) Logo, micro Dot fingerboard inlay, ivoroid body binding, herringbone purfling, and multiple soundhole rosette. Even the back centre strip/zipper is matching and made of a colourful brownish to black and cream wood mosaic. This is a very special guitar for those seeking a real treat! There is more to a Santa Cruz guitar than just another guitar, Richard Hoover and his crew developed and refined their craftsmanship to the very highest level of Lutherie. Nowadays not only the frets- but also the fingerboards are plek'd these days for perfect intonation and spot on feel and tone. Of course every Santa Cruz comes perfectly set up from our shop. Sound: The tone of this guitar is rich, balanced and powerful, typically for Koa is the sweetness, and the mid-range focus, with the typical sweet clarity in the trebles and warm crisp sweetness of the bass. Very refined, almost intimate and very special.

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories.
