Santa Cruz Tony Rice Custom, from 1992, excellent+/NM condition. For the classy-guitar-lovers a tasty bite, infact a standard Santa Cruz With beautiful custom jacaranda rosewood back - Custom features include a premium sitka spruce top, Bound peghead, other features includ mahogany neck, Bound ebony fingerboard, 644mm (25 375 ") scale length, 43.6mm (1 23/32") Neck width. The sound hole is slightly enlarged, making the total response more balanced and increasing the tonal response of midds and treble. Truly a 'machine' that makes the blood pump. Amazing guitar in amazing condition and very clean. We found one superficial ding in the top and one similar superficial ding in the back and that's all.. almost no fretwear, dream action, amazing ton. This is a masterpiece of guitar design, and the Tony Rice Model fans are divided equally among flat pickers and fingerstyle players who both highly value the versatility and uniqueness of this guitar. The guitar is based on a 1936 Martin D-28 which was previously played by Clarence White, now owned by Tony Rice and restored by both Martin and Richard Hoover of Santa Cruz Guitars. Other features, herringbone trim and soundhole trim, installed Pickup, ivoroid bindings, Comes with original deluxe case.
