Sergei De Jonge / Classical IRW-GS / 2013 / Guitar

Sergei de Jonge always tells us he only builds Classical guitars of the highest caliber, meant for the professional guitar player. Innovation is also an important factor in the evolution of his guitars; every instrument is built to answer as closely to the demands of the individual player. Al Sergei guitars feature the traditional French polish finish. The past years we've fallen in love with the exceptional craftmanship unique in the guitar business, as well as the extreme attention to detail and build quality.  This 2013 specimen is a great way to get into Sergei de Jonge classical guitars. In this case it features Indian Rosewood back and sides, a German spruce top with a magnificent detailed structure, rosewood bindings, rosewood/maple purflings, mahogany neck with elevated ebony fretboard, and the highest C on the fretboard can be reached just above the soundhole on the gracefuly curled fretboard, Schertler classical tuners with ebony buttons, 645mm (25 3/8") scale length, 52mm nutwidth, rosewood bridge, spalted maple/rosewood/maple/ebony rosette, rosewood heelcap and rosewood headstock overlay. Soundwise: it has a huge projection, a bright, full and balanced voice with a pronounced but not overly predominant low-end, a beautiful, sweet but powerful mid, and the high end can best be described as rich, round, and bright depending on the way you play the instrument. All in all; when it comes to classical guitars, Sergei's instrument always end up on the top of our list, it's truly the best of the best. Condition is excellent, top finish has had some tiny lacquer touch-ups, otherwise signs of use and playwear primarily in the finish of the top and the back of the nekc. Includes TKL hardshell case.

ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
