1980 Sigma DR-41 - Natural (Abalone) incl. black hardshell case
ca. 1980 Sigma DR-41 in Natural finish, dreadnought acousticguitar in excellent condition. This early Sigma guitar is made in Japan, later they moved production to Korea, China and now Indonesia. As many of the major US-Brands, Martin introduced a low-cost line of certain models which have been made in Japan. The Quality and craftmanship of this guitar is superb, Martin claims that all Sigma’s where sent to them in Nazareth, Pennsylvania to be inspected and adjusted by Martin personnel before they sent them out to the dealers. The top is made of solid spruce, back and sides are rosewood, original peghead-shape, diamond-style volute, and all the extensive abalone-purfling, just like on the original US-made Martin D-41! Everything is original, no cracks or former repairs, original frets (like new!), great action and great playability. Incl. black hardshellcase.
