Stoll / Ambition Custom Parlor Spalted Mango Spruce ProCut / 2016 / Guitar

Stoll Custom Ambition Parlor ProCut from 2016. Double sides usually ensure greater stiffness and stability. Thus the guitar achieves a sound more loud and defined. In this particular case, Stoll had a customer who was, from the visual point of view, in love with Spalted Mango, from his acoustic preferences, however, he tended to guitars with a full mid-range. For the construction of his Custom Guitar for this reason they chose double sides with an inner side made of Indian Rosewood. Indian Rosewood is not without reason one of the most popular tonewoods for back and sides. It is known for its well-defined sound with a special punch in the low mid-range. Indian Rosewood combined with Spalted Mango results in a wonderful powerful and assertive tone, that still preserves a treble, fresh, airy and rich with overtones, which is typical for Spalted Mango. It is combined with a very quick response and, considering the size, a surprisingly high volume. This little gem offers another feature, a proCut cutaway. In order to get enhanced access to upper frets, a slightly deeper cutaway was used for this Ambition Parlour. It is fitted at 15th fret. Usually Stoll applies the proCut to larger models, where, depending on whether the guitar is 12  or 14 frets clear of the body, the neck-body transition is possible at 17th or even 19th fret. But this petite Parlor guitar  demanded a special solution in order to keep the output quality, with regard to the smaller body. Condition is excellent; very clean with some minor playwear and signs of use. Includes hardshell case. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
