Stoll Guitars / Jumbo 12 / Guitar
12 string sound jumbo-sized. Voluminous yet nuanced, this 12-string Jumbo produces orchestral guitar sounds at the highest level. It also delivers these sounds with an ease that makes the guitarist's heart beat.
This Jumbo 12-string guitar the forceful upgrade of our models Ambition Jumbo and Ambition 12.
For the 17" body a sophisticated bracing system has been developed with two aims in view: balanced amplification of the sound volume and adjustment of the bracing to meet the requirements of an increased tension caused by the number of strings. In order to support tone development and handling, we have also opted for a neck-body transition at 12th fret.
Like all Ambition models, this 12-string has a Spanish neck. Despite its size, it is extremely light, has a domed top, a very comfortable neck shaping and a very flat string action. This concept allows for an astonishingly easy playability also for the less experienced on 12-string instruments.
Ambition Jumbo 12 impresses with a powerful and yet differentiated sound, which, like its 6-string sister, convinces with clear, precise basses, a wide mid range and velvety highs.
We build our 12-string jumbo guitars with a neck width of 50 mm, but this can be changed without any extra charge. As with all Ambition models, a wide selection of woods is available.
