Driven by an EL34 power section and a ‘balls to the walls’ tone stack, this amp can give you everything you need....as long as you don't need peace and quiet.
With a sonic personality that evokes the classic British sound of the seventies, the muscular, yet detailed sound of the Special is the prescription for lackluster tone. Single coil, humbucking and P-90 pickups all develop unique subtle tonal nuances when played through the hand built Swampwater Special. Blimey, it’s Limey!
The Swampwater Special is a Class AB amp with a fixed bias.

We use point-to-point hand soldered circuits because every amp is unique, and tailored to a specific customer. We talk with you, and spend time getting to know your style and your sound. We find out what it is that makes your sound just right and then we craft an amplifier that captures and enhances that spirit.

Amplifiers (Custom)
Each of our amps are custom built to your specifications. There are currently four production guitar models and one bass model available. We think they are better than almost anything out there. If there is something specific you're looking for, we can build it. However, custom engineering does have a price tag. Also, if these prices look like they may be out of your range don't hesitate to contact us anyway...sometimes payment arrangements can be made.
